An upgrade of the Bitcoin Cash (BCH) network is scheduled to be implemented on Thursday, May 15th, 2025. As a result we will be taking the following measures:

  • Bitcoin Cash (BCH) deposits and withdrawals will be suspended temporarily beginning on Thursday, May 15, 2025 at 1:00 AM (PT) .
  • If you need to deposit/withdraw Bitcoin Cash (BCH), please ensure that it is done at least 24 hours before the deadline above.

* IMPORTANT: Do not deposit Bitcoin Cash (BCH) from an external service during the suspension. If Bitcoin Cash (BCH) is sent to bitFlyer during the suspension period, there is a possibility that we will be unable to confirm its receipt.

Please note that while deposits and withdrawals are being affected, purchases and sales of BCH on the bitFlyer USA platform will still be available as usual before, during, and after both the system maintenance and network upgrade.

You may resume deposits and withdrawals of BCH once we announce the resumption of services on the bitFlyer_status X account.
